LMS 038 - Rover V8 Starter Motor LMS 038 - Rover V8 Starter Motor. These are remanufactured Gear Reduction Starter Motor. The units are based on a generic 1KW motor with different mountings and gearing to suit the particular vehicle. Please note the image shown is a generic image of the starter motor and the delivered starter motor may differ slightly from that shown.

LMS 038 - TVR Rover V8 196/709 Starter motor

Starter Solenoid mounted on the left hand side of the starter motor.
Not Suitable for MGBV8, Rover SD1, Morgan and TVR 
fitted with the V8 engine where the solenoid can 
obstruct either the exhaust headers or the chassis.
